Lucie Laricq began squeaking on the violin at an early age. After serious training in several conservatoires (Lille, Orleans, Tarbes) she entered the improvisation class of the CNSM of Paris with Alexandros Markeas and Vincent Lê Quang and participated in many masterclasses with Joëlle Léandre, Edward Perraud, Ramon Lopez, Jean-Luc Guionnet, Frédéric Blondy, Andy Moor. This experience radically changed her vision of music and pushes her to explore the unsuspected sounds of her instrument, to seek a personal language within her own imagination though enriched by the influence of contemporary classical music, jazz, free, noise, traditional, rock, as well as urban noises, nature, in short any sound element one can use to transmit, translate and generate a human emotion. Since then she has played music, improvised or composed in various formations (Claudie Dada, Entonnoir, Orchestre Débranché) and on various occasions (exhibition galleries, festivals, support evenings, matrimoine days, live music in the play Expérimentation Karamazov(s) by the Un homme s’énerve company). She also writes and “en-violines” poems that she presents in a solo, poèmes Enviolonnés/Violonisations (double disc released in 2014 under the Coax label).

Born in 1986 and based in Paris, Félicie Bazelaire is a cellist and double bass player. Coming from a classical background, she is interested in open and experimental musical forms. She is a member of the Onceim large ensemble (dir. Frédéric Blondy) and plays in various small groups (Claudie Dada; Les Certitudes, with Juliette Adam and Léo Dupleix; Plan à trois, with Emmanuel Lalande; Les Bêtes, with David Chiesa). She is developing a solo work with personal concepts (Hits; Pyramids) and pieces between composition and improvisation (Bass seule by Bertrand Denzler, L’épaisseur innombrable by Incise; Solo for string and Variations by Hannes Lingens). During improvised concerts or artistic projects, Félicie Bazelaire collaborates with musicians like Cristian Alvear, Prune Bécheau, Jacques Di Donato, Isabelle Duthoit, Minami Saeki, Taku Sugimoto. She also organizes events at the 26 Chaises in Paris.
